FILIPINO SWEET SPAGHETTI
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2- 2 lbs ground pork or beef
- 4-5 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 15-20 pieces Filipino red hot dogs (sliced diagonally)

3 cups or 35 oz Sweet
Style Del Monte or UFC
Spaghetti Sauce
- 3 cups or 3 (11.29 oz bottles) UFC banana sauce
- 2-3 tbsp cooking oil for sauteing
- 3 -4 tbsp granulated sugar, adjust accordingly or omit if desired
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/3 cup grated cheese and more for topping
Instructions:
- Heat the cooking oil in a wok and saute garlic and onion. Cook until onion is soft and translucent.
- Add the ground meat and continue cooking until the meat is no longer pink.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the hot dogs. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
- Add the spaghetti sauce, banana sauce and sugar.
- Cook on low to medium heat while stirring occasionally for 15 minutes or until the sauce gets thick.
- Season with salt & pepper if desired.
- Serve with spaghetti noodles (see package directions in cooking the spaghetti noodles).
- Top with grated cheese.
